Fordyce Parish Church was built in 1804  with architect William Robertson. The bellcote was added in 1830 but with a bell of 1702 taken from the old church of Fordyce. The church was renovated in 1894, In 2011 the church was closed and put up for sale. In 2014 it was converted to a house. During work paving stones inside the church were lifted and two masons' marks were noted on the under side of two of them, both of the same mason.  These were reported to the Project By Murray Archaeology Service.
