The footings of a tower house of possible 13th century date with alterations and additions to the east and southeast. The building to the SE had been altered several times, with the latest being a conversion to a kitchen in the mid-16th century. Lying within the west end of the kitchen was the remains of a collapsed fireplace arch which had two masons marks of the same mason carved on two of the arch stones. This was the mark that started the whole Project. | | |
